HEATHY LEA
Heathy Lea is the original hunting lodge for Chatsworth House and is tucked away on the edge of the estate. The wedding and reception will be held in tipis within the lodge gardens with paved footpaths between the different areas
If it looks like rain we’d recommend bringing an umbrella for moving between the tipis!
Free parking will be available on-site and a limited number of cars can be left overnight.

CARRIAGES
Towards the end of the evening there will be a waiting taxi or two (from Pacman Taxis) that you can use– the cost of the taxi remains with the passengers, we are just ensuring that taxis are easily available. Last orders will be around 11.45pm and the bar closes at midnight!

THE DAY AFTER
If you’re not feeling too tender we’d love for you to join us back in the tipi for coffee and cake from 11am on Sunday. For those not dashing off too soon after we’re planning on going for a little stroll around the Chatsworth Estate in the early afternoon too.
HONEYMOON FUND
Following the wedding we plan to take a honeymoon holiday to Northern Italy and Slovenia– we would love to explore the mountains, the old cities, the waterfront and generally just drink it all in after a busy few months and years!
If you would like to help at all please see the specific gifts such as date nights, spa treatments and adventurous excursions we'd quite like to do! We appreciate any contribution that you feel you can give.
If you’d prefer to give us a gift on the day then we’d also be extremely grateful, but you sharing our special day is the biggest gift to us!
WHERE TO STAY
As it is a Saturday in August we really recommend that you book your accommodation at the earliest point. Chatsworth and the Peak District are popular tourist destinations, particularly in the summer holidays.
